The Bf 109 fragment was found near the town of Gumrak, Russia, near the Volgograd (Stalingrad) Airport, and was likely in the battle of Stalingrad in 1943.

This 5” x 7” (12.7 x 18 cm) historical plaque displays this rare artifact, along with the story of the piece, all combined into an attractive, ready-to-hang wood plaque.

Known Relic History

This Messerschmitt Bf 109 wing skin relic was discovered outside of Olmonty, Poland. Although very few details are known about this specific aircraft, a later-model pilot respiratory component manufactured by Drager-Werke in Vienna, Austria was recovered along with many fuselage fragments.Messerschmitt Bf 109 Relic Fragments
