William B. Bailey, a skilled WWII pilot, flew the P-51 Mustang "Double Trouble Two" (S/N 44-63684), coded SX*B, as part of the 352nd Fighter Squadron, 353rd Fighter Group. As Air Executive and Deputy Commanding Officer, Bailey completed 186 missions and was credited with six victories—three in the air and three on the ground. His bravery earned him numerous accolades, including the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Legion d'Honneur.
